Sand on the Spree

We escaped Pankow this afternoon and headed for one of Berlin's super cool urban beaches. This one was called Kiki Blofeld which sounds a bit pornographic but is fact an easy going, family-friendly scene on the Spree. Just across the river is the packed Wild West beach -- a major party. This one guy next to us had swam across the Spree from there. Anyway, we had fun and I played in the sand and ate a little chocolate popsicle.
