On the Spree river in Berlin. We hired this kooky skipper and his solar-powered boat to cruise through the city. Although I look pretty cheerful in my life preserver, don't let that smile fool you. I hated it. It totally ruined my look and made me look puffy. I protested wildly for at least 20 minutes--the most high maintenance I've been in a long long time---and then passed out.

I so TOTALLY recognize that look you have there, post-meltdown..relieved and bemused but still recovering yourself. and cosima utterly worn out & matted down from the outburst! say hi to the Ms and tim & rani for us, scary how much the Ms have grown!
