When it comes to art I usually turn to my Auntie Bree but today my Aunt Julia got us invited on a studio tour of a Frankfurt-based artist named Dalip (www.dalip.com). Actually he has two studios---both huge---and is apparently building a third. Anyway, he was an interesting character and likes to paint big abstract heads. My mom preferred his current work: multi-colored plaid paintings that lined the walls of his biggest studio. The paintings are so big and he works on so many of them at the same time that he said that sometimes he works on a bicycle.
